하와이와 한국, 베트남 공공기관이 연대하는 글로벌 탄소저감 시스템 구축 움직임이 활발하게 이어지고 있다.
소이바는 보도자료를 통해 지난 달 17, 18일 주정부 청사 대회의실에서는 하와이 주지사, 호놀룰루 시의회 예산위원장이 주도하는 제8회 바이오 경제포럼이 열렸다고 알려왔다.
보도자료에 따르면 이날 포럼에는 하와이와 베트남, 한국의 지자체 공공기관 및 기업인 120여명이 참석했다.
SOiVA(Service Oriented Interactive Video Application) 사는 포럼 첫날 발표한 글로벌 탄소저감 서비스 데이터 시스템은 글로벌 탄소저감 모니터링 일자리를 창출하는 시스템으로 하와이 주정부 및 베트남 정부로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다고 알려왔다.
소이바R&D 의 김상용 회장은 미국, 한국, 베트남 간의 소이바 글로벌 탄소저감 서비스 데이터 서비스 본부를 하와이에 설립하고, 미국과 한국, 베트남에 소이바 탄소저감 서비스 데이터센터를 설립하기로 했다”며 “이를 위하여 10월에는 미국과 베트남에서 한국을 방문, 데이터 센터 설립을 위한 지역과 분야 선정을 논의한다”고 밝혔다.
김상용 회장은 소이바 탄소저감 서비스 데이터센터는 새로운 글로벌 공급망 구축을 위해 전세계 국가들에 설립 계획을 가지고 글로벌 대규모 컨소시엄 구성을 추진한다고 밝혔고, 추후 소이바 미국 법인을 나스닥에 상장할 계획이라고 말했다.
통신사, 금융사, 언론방송사, 전자상거래사, 교육기업, 메디컬기업 및 제조사, 물류유통사, 무역회사, 지역단체, 전문인협회, 소이바 지역단체협회 등이 모두 참여하는 글로벌 뉴 벨류체인 컨소시엄 구성이 예상된다.
SOiVA는 인터넷에서 필요한 자원을 그때그때 가져다 쓰는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반의 관리 도구(Cloud Computing Interactive Video Application Governance Platform)로서, 상호작용형 비디오 응용 프로그램을 총괄하는 기능을 수행한다.

On August 17th and 18th, 2022, the 8th BIOECONOMY Forum led by the Governor David Ige of Hawaii and Honolulu City Councilmember Calvin Say, was held at the State Capitol Auditorium in Honolulu. .
The SOiVA global carbon reduction data service system, announced on the first day of the BIOECONOMY forum, is a system that creates global carbon reduction monitoring jobs and has been well received by Hawaii and the Vietnamese government.
On the second day of the forum, Vietnam’s carbon reduction policy institute, and climate change research institute Director Dr. Ninh Huu Nguyen and SOiVA R&D Chairman Sang-young Kim agreed to establish the SOiVA Global Carbon Reduction Data Service Headquarters in Hawaii, establish SOiVA Carbon Reduction Data Centers in the US, Korea and Vietnam.
Following this MOA, in October, the U.S. and Vietnam delegation will visit Korea to further discuss the selection of regions for data center establishment. Chairman Kim stated that the SOiVA Carbon Reduction Data Service Center has a plan to establish a new global supply chain in countries around the world and is promoting the formation of a large-scale global consortium.
It is expected that a global new value chain consortium will be formed in which telecommunication and financial corporations, media broadcasting and e-commerce companies, education sector, medical companie, manufacturers and logistics distributors, trading companies and local groups, professional associations, and SOiVA Associations participate. SOiVA announced that it plans to list its U.S. subsidiary on the NASDAQ in the near future.
